They just rejected me over the phone.

The lady was so as a matter of fact about the whole thing. I've never felt so horrible (actually, I have) as I do at this very moment. The way she said it makes me want to cry, and THEN she asks me "do you want a dupilcate?" as if I lied that I hadn't recieved it in the mail. This is worst feeling ever, rejection. Why did my first rejection have to be over the phone? Why couldn't she say "we'll send out a decision right now" or something? Why was I rejected? Why have I waited all this time to finally call? My heart was set on CUNY Honors at Baruch. Now I'm not even sure I want to go to Baurch, I feel so spiteful.

Its okay though don't worry, its their loss.

I got rejected from CUNY Honors at Baruch as well

... over the mail though. I'm still considering going there though. Baruch is a pretty good school for business. And you can always apply for honors next year. The lady over the phone was mean though

^ Yea.. Even if it is CUNY Honors the people there just totally suck. CUNY people will be all in your face and crap T_T (talking about admin)

is baruch the best college our of cuny schools?
do you guys recomend any other cuny schools?

queens college is okay, brooklyn college, hunter college
cocogirl: im probably going to baruch as well

but now i have to pay for a laptop?! and everyone at CUNY is RUDE AS HELL (faculty) ive called again since this post as I never got financial aid information and the lady was just completely rude

i came and asked them a few questions about the application process and they were colder than ice

they didnt even bother to look at me nor let me finish any of my sentences

tho my sis is in hunter i dun want to go there anymore...
ah forgot to say i m a transfer student...
im at ccny (city college) right now and i have to say that the faculty here is sOO NICE!! i feel bad leavin this school cuz most of the ppl at the admision office or financial aids or other offices are all so friendly...sigh...~~ if u hav any question they ll help u thru ~~
oh well....guess im goin to baruch, i hope they r nice there

i heard there is alot of diveristy there.
does the school have a good Architecture program? how about advertising and Engineering?

Stephen you're giving up stern for baruch?
how bad was the fin. aid at stern that you're choosing baruch over it? you don't have to dorm so COA should be around 35k~, and i'm sure they gave you something.
