TAMPA, FLA. (AP) -- Former pro wrestling champion Brian "Crush" Adams died Monday after he was found unconscious in his home. He was 44.

He showed no visible signs of injury and foul play was not suspected, police spokeswoman Janelle McGregor said. Authorities were awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner before proceeding with their investigation.

Adams' wife, who was not identified, found her husband not breathing and called 911 about 11 a.m. Fire Rescue workers later pronounced him dead, McGregor said.

Adams, a former world tag team champion, last performed for the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and served intermittently on the roster beginning in 1990, World Wrestling Entertainment said. WWE spokesman George Cabico had no further comment.

well the company wwe(world wrestling entertainment) is what it's called now but it used to called wwf(world wrestling federation). if i remember correctly, the reason for the name change is that the acronym wwf was already taken by another group(something about saving pandas or something like that). so since they both couldn't have the same acronym, they changed to the name wwe.

Who's watching summerslam this sunday? I really want Orton to win. I don't care bout Khali or Batista but most likely Batista is going to lose again in another title rematch. Rey and Triple H are going to win obviously cuz who loses in their return match when they're main eventers? And I personally don't care about ECW so I don't mind whoever wins. Oh yeah I hope Kennedy wins the IC Belt but I think Umaga just won it recently so he could retain.

Don't care about the ECW match? . But that's probably the best and least predictable title match on the card! On top of that, it's probably going to be the BEST WRESTLING match this Sunday!

I'm not taking anything away from those two wrestlers. I just don't pay attention to ECW so I have almost no interest in it. I'm only a Smackdown person because I don't have cable to watch Raw but I at least keep up with it. I mean they do show it here a week later on the local spanish channel....haha.
