I felt sorry to Batista, I read alot of bad comments about him.

Because there are people that really enjoys the art of wrestling. Batista is like the ultimate warrior. charismatic but can't wrestle good.

Thats because in real life Batista is an ass. It was a good thing Booker T put him in his position. Anyone remember that story? Haha. For those who don't remember or never heard, it happened in 06 and apparently Batista was telling the locker room that he was the main attraction and that Smackdown's ratings were dropping cuz he wasn't on the show(injured at the time). Then he would rave about how much better Raw was, being disrespectul to midcarders, acting like he was the top star etc and him and Booker T got into a fight where Batista got in some cheap shots on Booker but Booker took him down. Almost as good as Jericho taking down Goldberg.

but bringing it back~~~ WWE has recently made MANY cuts to the roster

Senior referee Scott Armstrong, WWe superstars: Paul Burchill, Hurricane Helms, and Charlie Haas, and WWE Diva Maria have all been released as of this week

The shocking release to EVERYONE has been of WWE Maria...she was voted by the fans as Diva of the Year, she's one of the most popular divas on the roster, despite her lacking a lot of wrestling ability....it was a real surprise.

I used to follow wrestling intently back when I was a kid during the whole WWF Attitude era, but then, I watched it on and off since then. The last time I really followed it was for stretches when Batista joined and left Evolution. Those storylines really interested me for some reason along with Edge/Lita, John Cena going to RAW, Brock Lesnar's short stint, and Cena/Kurt Angle.

I casually started watching again about a few weeks ago though. I gotta say, I love Batista more as a heel than as a face. I remember both John Cena and Batista when they first started wrestling on SmackDown. Cena with the rapper image and Batista as D-Von's assistant. I always thought that Batista definitely had the potential to go up the ladder but was still shocked when I saw him breakthrough onto the scene with Evolution. When Cena got drafted to RAW, I really did start tuning in to the WWE again for a while.

Something I been wanting to see though for years now is DX coming back with Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac. Not really feeling the whole Triple H/Shawn Michaels duo. I still remember that one episode on SmackDown where they all reunited. I think there were a couple hints at it possibly happening with the stuff that happened on TNA a couple years ago with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, but it never materialized.

Anyways, I thought the whole pre-hype for Cena vs. Batista for the title at WrestleMania on RAW this past Monday was kind of lame, but I am looking forward to the career vs. streak match with Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker.

awful lot of marks here, American wrestling is crap now, and you can't consider John Cena or David Batista wrestlers... puro is great, old school WWF is great, WCW was great, WWE is pure crap, TNA is better cause it has actual wrestling on it.

amazing..7 years away, he comes back and retakes the wwe universe within 5 seconds
there were no more mixed reactions for cena...nothing but boos and chants of cena sucks!!!

Edge retired. I am shocked about it. He was one of my favorite wrestlers. I enjoyed watching him over the years. How much he has developed and how cool he became. I'm sad but happy about him at the same time. Sad that he won't be there to be the entertaining character he is anymore. Happy that he accomplished so many big things, and went out in a good way too. He will be missed. I won't forget him. I will always remember him. Thanks for the memories Edge.
