OK I've posted this before the server crashed a long time ago, but I have really bad memory and I could use some updates.

I want to know how to remove my shift knob from my Integra. I bought the car with the knob so I haven't a clue. Most shift knobs are just twist on, but I have a feeling this shift knob is not a twist on. It may have some sort of plastic clip that went on the shifter, then the shift knob was snapped/clipped into place?? Why do I think this?

1. I tried mildly twisting it and it moves verrry slightly clockwise and counter-clockwise about 1mm.
2. The shift knob has the words Razo on it facing the middle of the car perfectly.

I am going to finally get around to installing my stereo in my car that I purchased like a half year ago (?). I've heard I can just swivel the center console without removing the shift knob, but I want to eventually get a different shift knob some day anyway.

Any help would be appreciated.

I read this somewhere:
to take the shift knob off you pull down hard on the leather directly below where the leather boot starts. give it a good tug then it pops off. to remove the shift knob itself just twist it off. i myself just put a momo shift knob on ill post some pics later today its relitivley easy. you have to take the plastic bottom off to its held on with a tiestrap or a rubber band.

or

Just pull the shift boot down...its ok, you have to pull a little hard to remove the clips...then just unscrew the knob....its very easy, you shouldn't have any need to remove anything out of your car (except the knob of course)

Edit: Make sure to pull the boot down from the plastic ring, otherwise you might rip the boot.

But i still think its somewhat of a twist off. It's normal right hand threads.

Razo shift knobs should have a screw-on top piece where u twist off counter clock wise. Then the rest of the knob should slide right off. At least that's how my razo shift knob comes off.
