Is this topic okay? Sorry, it's my first time creating a topic...
Anyway, I've noticed a couple people planning to attend UCSD either in the Fall 2006 or Winter 2007. I was wondering what colleges did you guys get in and what you're planning to major in. Thought it would be interesting since we may all be there and possibly see each other next year. I know a lot of people who got into Muir and I kinda feel left out haha. Oh, and is anyone planning to attend Admit Day on the 8th, next Saturday?

College: Earl Warren
Major: Chemical Engineering
(anything else worth knowing?)

Oh yeah, last thing.. a couple of my friends emailed UCSD and asked them what is the minimum GPA requirement for senior year. Their reply was to maintain a 3.0 weighted and averged GPA. So that's kind of confronting for those who are worried over it.

im in eleanor roosevelt college with a planned major in international relations-linguistics.

I plan to switch to bio and minor in japanese or international relations if i can. I want to use my japanese skills!

Me too ( about already having sent in the SIR... ) i am flipping PSYCHED!

I'm going into Sixth College ( yay! I love the core requirements! ) and right now, im planning to major in cognitive science, with an emphasis in neuroscience, but i might rethink this. I still have about a year... and i still have to get my GE's over with, right?

If i do switch my major i might change it to like, zoology, or i dont know... marine bio ( i go to a science magnet focused on animals/science/behavior right now )

Oh, but i put Biology on my application. But i'm probably switching out of this major for sure.

does anyone know how the CA residency thing works? like... do your parents have to be CA residents for 2 years to lower the tuition fee or do i have to be CA resident for 2 years?
