ok so my friend just told me.....that when you send your scores to the colleges they will see ALL your scores. i'm taking my SAT tomorrow (for the THIRD time
) because i did not do well my two other times....do u think colleges will take that into consideration? like.....a big part? lol

It depends largely on what the colleges' policies are. For example, if you were going to apply to Cal Poly, they'll take the best scores out of ALL your SATs (best math, best verbal, and best writing). Other colleges will just take only one SAT into consideration.

They'll see all your scores, but most colleges will only use your individual best scores, like in each of the sections. Except California ones.

Colleges see all your SATs scores that you have in high school. I took it three times, it's okay. And I still wasn't happy with my last score, but I had to settle with it. They will take into consideration your improvement, or lack of, but not so much. They'll usually take your top scores from each section. So no worries =)

Yeah they do consider how many times you've taken the SAT. I wouldn't take it more than three or four times.

Yes they do see all your scores but only some take the best scores from each section. I took the SAT I three times but I don't think my colleges looked at that negatively.
