as the title states, whats the minimum score that most colleges wil accept on the SATs?

for me, im not aiming for a regular school because im majoring in art so obviously my portfolio is #1 priority but SAT's and GPA are also key factors that play into the acceptance of moi. im taking my first SAT tomorow sad.gif

i really hope i get higher than an 1100..seriously lol im hoping to get a minimuim of 1500 =X

my friend applied to art schools.
she had 1500-1600, and her m+v wassss i think 1100-1200~.

most of the schools were fine with her scores.
she got into parsons, mica, and some other stuff. she's waiting for risd.
oh yeah, but that chicago art school told her that the sat scores are too low to come in and take a test (but they weren't guaranteeing her a spot though). so she didn't go.

anyway, those scores should be fine. but i think my friend is reaaaaaally good -- she got some awesome scholarship that only < 5 people get per state or something. i dunnnnnno.

good luck.

hmmm why don`t yu go check out the websites of the art schools yu are interested in?

most college sites have statistics for the prospective students who worry about their grades & scores & acceptance & whatnot (a group that consist of OHHHH about every single student in the whole entire universe)

sooo pick a school, look @ their standards, & do a little better than what they say is their 50% level or whatever & yu`ll be fine.

g`luck!
