so being a big pimpin' senior now. (go 06?) college looms near and i need help narrowing down where to apply to
Thus far i will for sure apply to:
University of Texas Austin (because i'm garunteed admission, but they will give me no money)
University of Houston (because they're offering me a FULL ride... like everything in the world will be covered)
UPenn (for their law program)
and then after that i'm blank... I really wanted to go to New England area (esp Boston) but is it worth applying?
what are the stats that a kid from texas needs to get into a good school there? I'm majoring undergrad as an international relations/east asian studies/foreign affairs/international business (the majoe depends on what the school offers)
and more importantly, do you think they'd give me some money?

JHU has good IR program, as does Tufts, and, of course, Georgetown.
UCSD has a nice IR problem specifically aimed for the Pacific Rim, but this is a Graduate program. However, attending undergrad at UCSD will probably give you benefits to various aspects of the graduate program.
I wanted to do IR for a while -- maybe I still do.
I'm leaning towards Economics/International economics.
