My brother recently got an F in AP Biology last semester (which he dropped) and I want to know what he can do to make that up. Would taking a biology class at community college replace it? I'm not too sure since it's an AP class and would he have to take like a whole year's worth or just the first semester portion of the class? A 0 is going to hurt his GPA :[. And I guess the same also applies for 2 D's he got in "CORE" which is a Humanities program in case anyone knows about it. Thanks.

does he have enough credits to graduate already?
if then, he doesn't have to replace the class.
it's in all school general rules somewhere. i've done my share of screwing with the system. heh heh.

^He's in 10th grade and I'm more concerned with it affecting his GPA when he applies for college. So I'd rather have him replace it or fix it somehow.

You would probably have to work it out somehow with the school. I haven't really heard of anyone replacing a grade just taking a summer class to get the credit. Also I highly doubt taking it at community college will replace it on his transcript. What might be good though is for him to show that he cares and wants the knowledge by taking the AP Bio test and doing well. Just a thought.
