These songs are mainly rock, alternative, indie, and punk. I've been downloading quite a few songs lately, and the following are some songs that are just my personal favorites. I included parts of the lyrics of each song too.

NOTE: These are not "new" songs, but will be "new" to people who haven't listened to them before


1. Breaking Benjamin- Forget It
Really really really really good song!!
This song is very different from their other songs, (less angry) and it has a very mellow/sad sound. If you like songs like OneRepublic's Apologize, you'll love this one for sure- but in my opinion this is x2 better

2. Muse- Time is Running Out
I LOVE this song. It is alternative rock, and the way it sounds is just chill.

3. Motion City Soundtrack- Everything is Alright
If you like FallOutBoy then you'll like them. This song is a pretty "positive" song, and I just like how it goes Can help you feel better anytime. Very catchy too.

4. OneRepublic- Stop & Stare
By the artists of "Apologize", this song song is also really good. It's not sad/mellow like Apologize, but it's catchy and it gets stuck in your head really quick. Great lyrics too

5. Daphne Loves Derby- The Longest Story
This song features a piano in the background, and it's just a really pretty/inspiring song. Don't miss!

To keep myself from holding on."

6. Acceptance- In the Cold
One of my favorite songs. It talks about having people leave your life all the time and how much it sucks. Great song. This group is very much underrated.

it will spin around and shatter
throw you to the floor
as it leaves us in the cold"

7. The Fray- Over My Head
Great song, piano alternative. This is imo their best song, very catchy and positive. Listen!!

8. The Bravery- An Honest Mistake
They sound really similar to the Killers. This song is their most popular one, and I like the beat to this

9. Killers- Under the Gun
One of my most favorite songs Nothing much to say about it except I love the chorus and just everything about it.

10. Sugarcult- Memory
Old song, but still really good !! I'm sure many have heard of this song already.

OMFFFFFFFFFG. THANK FAWKING GOODNESS! somebody else knows them! i think that makes you...the 5th(?) person i know who actually knows this band and likes them/this song. it pisses me off how they're so underrated.

but back to the song...yeah, my sister discovered them back in january '05. the moment we heard the music and the beat in the beginning...we knew it was love. the part where michael (the guitarist) goes all out towards the end of the song is just crazy. hey, have you listened to "no brakes" yet? AWESOME bass in the beginning. dirt's a hottie.^^ doesn't sam remind you of elvis (especially in their music video ;P).

i don't exactly know The Bravery, but 'An Honest Mistake' isn't such an unpopular song. well i know a lot of people that know the song at least. and from what i saw in YouTube, they're really good live.
