okay..
i've narrowed my choices down to usc and uc davis..

i'm so stuck on which to choose though. feedback please!

for usc-
i'm not getting like any scholarships so basically i'll be pulling out loans and having my mom pay or whatnot. however, i did get in a pre-dentistry program and i do live in the valley (20-25 mins from la) so i will be really close to home, which i DO like. i've been wanting to go to usc like all my life so basically all the hard work i did in high school was so i could get into usc

but...
do i really want to be paying loans (lots of loans) ALL MY LIFE? not really.

uc davis-
if i attend davis, i might be getting a full scholarship (i have an interview). i also got in for biochemistry, which is excellent in my case. a bad thing is i'm going to be 6-7 HOURS away from home...i might live on campus which i don't like because i don't like sharing bathrooms....and i'm sort of going to be starting a whole new life. as immature as it may sound, no one i know is going to davis =[ plus, i've never thought about davis all my life so it's kinda random..

my mom's saying that it's only for undergrad so i might as well go to a school where i won't be paying and after, get into usc's grad school.

ehhh....i'm so $@&*^#&*)(!#@!#@
please leave some pros/cons, feedbacks, etc. that'll help me decide what school to choose. (but please don't say something like "uc davis teaches you how to farm" or "usc is in the ghettos". it's been established and sounds ignorant)

i live bout 10 min away from ucd. it wont really matter if u wont have any frens at this school because people are really friendly around here. everytime i drive pass davis, the drivers are so0o0 nice. and when i go visit my frens there, they introduce me to other people and most of them are really chill n kick back. the campus is large, so IF u plan on attending here, i'd say u invest in a bike. davis is a bike school since everything is so spread out, sometimes walking is not an option unless u want to walk an hour or something. davis isn't bad. =)
go on and say it
u need me like a bad habit

Also, I don't think you should be using friends as a factor in deciding. I kind of agree with your mom. The last school you attend is the most important, so if you plan on going to grad school, then grad school's more important. Also, after getting your bachelor's you can make money to pay for grad school?

friends shouldnt be a factor that affects where u go (in most cases). i think u should go with davis, unless u cant grow up and must live wtih your parents your entire life. go out and explore, start something new. dont be afraid of change. also.. would u rather come out of college with like 50 grand of debt? or come out of college without debt.. only having to share a bathroom in the mean time. with 50 grand, im sure u can buy like the best toilet there is out there just for yourself
