If it's a small class, you shouldn't be skipping.
Sorry to hear about it tho...
-edit-
you should talk to your dean or something tho
I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't even know all about me. I just need to feel s a f e.
I've got a thousand sweaters, and shoes, and paintings to hide the skeletons in my way.
But he said, "Slow down, slow down. Think it over, we've all got wretched closets, but silly girl pride kills more than Aids lately."
I said, "Come on, I thought it over. I don't wanna die here. I have no desire to get m♥rried."
Every night I pray for you, don't believe in heaven or that it could be a happy place.

Man, that sucks.
But at my school if you miss a certain amount of hours, they can drop you. Regardless of your grade.
If you talk to your professor, you can be reinstated. Just make up some bs excuse about why you have been missing class, but say that you study your hardest (thats why you did so well on the midterm) and promise that you will come to class because all of your "issues" have been cleared up.

does your class/university have an attendance policy? if so then its your fault if not go talk w/ the prof or someone in charge of the department
Yup i agree, it depends on the policy, over in my uni, if you dont attend to x% of them you get thrown out of college, let alone one course.
But i feel bad what happened to you.
