too bad things didn't turn out how i wanted but you know, life moves on. everything is gonna be ok. it's only for a short while and in no time at all i know someone else is gonna come along. maybe this one will cherish me, like me and tell me so, and i won't have to try so hard for him...but i still wish things coulda turned out how i wanted them to =[

that ive been living my own life at college, and slowly pushing my parents, old friends, hometown towards the back of my mind. being too busy to call, or write a postcard. forgetting promises.

realizing now how much i miss the summer before i left for college, driving around with the windows down and radio blasting, best friend in the passenger seat. meeting up with the friends for pizza, and ice cream and movies. watching the news and playing wii with my parents after dinner. staring at the glow in the dark stars on the ceiling before i fell asleep at night, listening to the crickets chirp.
