it sucks because mmw is 6 quarters long, but once you get that over with, like luvxholic said, the other GEs aren't that bad...

revelle's hum classes can be taken elsewhere and is half the time so that's not TOO bad...and yeah, the science GEs and stuff suck, but if you're a science major, it helps! my friend is a poli sci major from revelle, but since he took so many science classes, he is going for a bio minor since he only needs like 2 more bio classes to complete it. that stuff looks good on apps/resumes! smile.gif

i'm surprised i haven't seen many marshall students yet...their GEs are reallyyyy easy..writing program (DOC) is pretty easy! an easy 6 units winter&spring quarter!!

wait, sixth college has RES HALLS?
haha just kidding. if you're transferring it doesn't really matter which college you get into. as for first years, revelle is probably the most miserable place to live. it's super far from everything (but the old student center is being revived ... soon?) and the dorms are crap :X. so are the GE's. tough stuff man.

marshall all the way biggrin.gif.

I really liked admit day. The res hall / apt tour was definitely worth going to. & I got to ask academic advisors questions... smile.gif jacobs definitely put a lot of effort into this and gave us bunch of handouts/presentations.

It's fun for you guys but people who live there are usually not thrilled about it. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I felt like a zoo animal or something =___=

*I get out of my apartment and I'm locking the door when I turn around and see 30 people watching my every move from 10 feet away*
Them: Can we take a look at your apartment?
Me: =____=;;;; No...
*I lock the door and run away to Geisel Library*

I noticed that all the volunteered suites/apt are female ones tongue.gif & the ones I saw were really cute and very nicely decorated.

Yeah those people volunteer to show their suites/apartments so they like doing it or something but our apartment didn't volunteer or anything, so those people had no right to ask to come in and see our apartment. I don't think they get any compensation but I'm not 100% sure either :I

What's the difference between honor's chemistry courses versus regular? Is it just harder? any benefits?
thanks smile.gif
