also, do i have to buy the chem6a 13-button remote handheld transmitter tx-100 from the ucsd bookstore? or is there somewhere else i can buy it from? is anyone selling theirs

If it is required, then yes. I used it for all my chem 6 courses. Like someone said, go to the bookstore and check out which one you need. You don't have to buy it yet. Then look on facebook marketplace or uloop.com because there are people who do sell the transmitters. Just make sure it's the right one.

I got the more expensive clicker (retails for $50 new at bookstore I think) for $35, and it was practically new, since she only used it once. I'm pretty sure it was new since this was when they just began transitioning to the new clickers about two years ago.
I'm really thankful that you're alive. The news about you is my reason for living. We should meet at least once while living. No matter what you're doing be healthy and always live happily. For you being born, for meeting you... I'm so thankful.

Textbook: 978-0-8248-2342-9
Workbook: 978-0-8248-2175-3

The prices at UCSD Bookstore weren't bad for these. I couldn't find them online so I just bought it there and it was fine. I don't think you'll be finding a used workbook though. A lot of people do their homework straight in there instead of copying it on lined paper.

thank you!! xD
i found them cheaper at the online B&N website smile.gif

If I did the textbook reservation @ UCSD bookstore and I drop a class after a week or two, can I get a refund for the books for that class?

everyone in muir gets a small-ish closet (compared to revelle or warren, at least) that comes with a 2-compartment drawer that you can remove from the closet.

so this is the only picture i could find that would kind of help you figure out the relative size of your closet smile.gif

so the guy's about 5'8'' which makes the closet around 5'5''~ish (maybe a bit shorter?) but its shorter than the top bunk. the drawers fit inside fill up about half the width of the closet (which is about 75% shown in the picture) hopefully this is helpful for you guys to figure out what to pack. this closet is standard for ALL muir students living in the reshalls, and (i think) at least all the lofted beds in the triples throughout the school. its really not as bad as you think. if you want more closet space, you can buy those hangers that you can stack on each other or something.. you can also take the drawer out to make more room in the closet itself, and use the drawer as a table
hi :)

^I'm pretty sure everyone does. The bookshelf is removable though -- I used it on the floor as a rack because it used up too much of the desk space.

A meet at the start the Fall quarter is a good idea.
Meet new people when everything is fresh and new.

Is anybody planning it? I can help.

I'll keep my eyes peeled but if you haven't already done so check bulletin board postings on campus. Also check craigslist and if you have facebook there's a Marketplace app where people post openings near campus.

Wow, you could potentially live very close to me (I'm in F2) and if you do, i'm sure you know or have met my neighbor Eric - most talkative guy i've ever met lol, but he's cool. I'm Andrew btw, you should come by and say hi sometime, I like new friends. :]

We need to get a chatroom or something going for it. Everybody keeps talking and having ideas about it, but nothing is set. I think it'd be fun to go out for like dinner/drinks/etc, but most people here are too young T_T lol. I'm down for anything really though.
