Hi everyone! I'm Tran Huyen Suong from Vietnam.
This month the representatives of UCSD is coming to Hanoi in the US College Fair held by IIE. I know UCSD is famous (no doubt, but I love UCLA better

), but I'm wondering that should I give up my class that afternoon to go to USCD chatting with the counselors

????? UCSD doesn't offer need-based scholarship to international students, and my family is not that kinda rich to pay "some" thousand a year

Such a dilemma

^ Just go to UCLA. We don't want kids who can't even spell the college they're thinking about going to anyway (UCSD).

I always misspell the word UCSD because I wanted to apply for USC, but now no more^^.

i wish school was cancel because of those darn fires!!! There's so much ash floating around that smell is bugging me like crazy.

We've just been told that there's a 50/50 chance of evacuation so we need to pack an emergency bag. Now I'm getting scared.

I don't go to UCSD, but I heard about the evacuations. I hope that the fire gets contained and you guys are okay

mm..i heard that UCSD was actually a good place to evacuate to or something, because it is located very close to the beach or something. O.O. winds have died down..so hopefully..the fire will be contained. it's kinda surreal though. my friend told me in the cedar fire from 2003, school was canceled for a whole week..and people are saying that these fires are worse than that...so..=OOO.

The air was a lot worse on Sunday. I was on campus today -- didn't check my email so I didn't know classes were cancelled -- and the air didn't seem too bad.

well... at least i won't have my bild midterm till thurs now :]

Looks like the fire near me is dying down. Hopefully it'll be contained by wednesday. Stay safe, you guys! :]
