nope you dont. a few of my friends were winter admits, i think they send you information regarding off-campus housing and probably even have people to assist you with housing issues. dont worry about it too much. most of the off campus housing are within 10 - 20 minutes and bus-accessible, and its free with our student id with the bus sticker!

i actually visited sd today (: imma senior in hs lol .. omg .. the campus is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!!!! AH !!!!!!!!!!!!! IM IN LOVE WITH THAT SCHOOL OMG T-T .. LOL I REALLY WANNA GET IN .. AH I NEED TO WRITE A KICK- ASS ESSAY :[

im going to be a second year now, revelle college. GE's take quite a while to complete but they aren't that bad really. you have a bunch of classes to choose from for every requirement so you can probably find something that you like or are good at. foood at revelle is decent as well. having CLICS (the library) right next to the dorms are really awesome too. good luck to everybody

weeeee i'm an incoming frosh at muir! i went to visit there just for the heck of it n fell in love with it. then 2 weeks later i found out i got accepted and immediately sent in my SIR haha. see u guys there in a few more weeks =)

im a winter admit too. we arent guaranteed housing but it's best to start looking at apartments and roommates.

my friend got accepted and he was all looking forward to it, until UCSD tells him LAST WEEK that he can't come due to a bad grade in a class that doesnt even count...
so now he's all paniking cus city college classes are already closed

It was a D in Jazz Ensemble.
He talked to his teacher and counselor, who both told him that he already fulfilled his performing arts credit and that jazz ensemble was just an extra class he was taking. they also said that UCSD wouldn't even look at it.

UCSD wasnt very helpful to him when my friend called at the end of first semester.

danggg that doesn't matter at all then! maybe it lowered his gpa? but still that's way too harsh.

my friend was accepted to SD... but then when SD got his grades from when he went to school in China they said he lied on his grades and now he's going to community....

the initial "acceptance" is based primarily on your word. but afterwards you are going to have to prove it and this determines whether or not they will revoke their offer of admission.

hmm the D for jazz and getting revoked sounds weird...i know lots of people who got Ds for things like ap spanish, ap calc and they still got in...he should call as much as he can

Umm class enrollment has started; what's your guys' schedules? I got one of the worst times to enroll haha 9:40 am on the 25th =\
anyway..my classes are okay (couldn't get warren writing though), but the times are whacked.. tuesdays and thursdays 8-8:50 pm classes...

aww i was one of the last people that got to enroll. pretty much my classes are bs. i dont even want the professors i have nor the times i have them at either... btw, i start m-f at 8 am!!!!
