Well I got into UCSD Marshal
With average SAT Scores (like 1800) and average Math 1, Math 2 (little below average), and Korean scores.
I think I got in because of my GPA which is 3.9 unwieghted... idk... ;;

There isn't a nutrition major. The closest things are the bio majors around here.

For business, there's no explicit business major. For people in that field, they would either be an economics or management science major.

Also, Political Science is a business major, but geared towards a different kind of business, I guess. Without the math part, lol.

hmm..to those of you in marshall, i just wanted to say...i honestly think it's an underrated college

ok, so we have one more quarter of writing than muir + warren....BUT....DOC is seriously an EASY class. you go to class, don't do much, you get a B. easy. if you actually try though, easy A. you write like 2 or 3 5-pg papers a quarter...which REALLY is not that bad. i regret buying the books for the classes since mine was in mint condition at the end.. i wrote my papers literally hours before, and i got Bs.....now i wish i had tried =( the class itself is actually kind of interesting, and the TAs I've had were all really nice.

the GEs are not all that bad either, it's a little bit of everything, nothing hardcore.

the location is awesome, and i think, comparable to muir --- like someone said, close to the gym, OVT (the dining hall that is open latest on campus), right next to two big parking structures, kind of in the middle so a reasonable distance from where your classes might be

the dorms are decent, room sizes are nice. singles and doubles are pretty spacious...and triples..well, triples anywhere suck. i LOVED the apartments...i had a double and it was big enough for me to do a cartwheel in. i never had any complaints about my housing.

^Yeah I lived in the Marshall Lower apartments last summer (before the parking lot was built, so parking sucked a lot back then though) and it was so nice. I lived in a single too. I loved how close it was to Geisel Library +_+

I'm taking General Chemistry lab (CHEM6BL) in first session and Physics (PHYS1C/1CL) in second session.

Oh and does anyone know how many units you need to be considered a senior? +_+

Yea I heard about that. My friend went online and IMed me like 1-2 hours after it happened. I heard he did that in his car. Sad. :[

BTW do you know if you are using the same HILD 7a books as the class at ucsd? because I am selling some, but I am not sure if it's the same for you. Just wondering if you needed them, if they are the same.

yeah, he did do it in the car. Apparently he was in his car for about 30 minutes in the parking lot, he was umm... i forgot the term for this, but its when you push the gas pedal and you car kind of make noise? it starts with an R, for like 30 mins in thelot. A couple of students were annoyed so one of the residents from the Atlantis fleet came up to the man and told him to stopped. The man kind of hinted that he had a gun and no one approach the man after that. So the residents called the cops and the man shot himself in the car a couple of minutes before the cops came. This is according to my friend who is an RA, she was at the scene and saw the body and everything.

i'm just glad something else didn't happen, because today is anniversary of Virginia tech.

he shot himself.. but the school did cover it up well... ppl outside of revelle don't know unless someone mentioned it...
especially with people doing their SIR's, i doubt the school wants to publicize a suicide that happened on campus...

Yeah, no one else that I know knows about it (until I tell them anyway -.-a) It wasn't even on this week's Guardian.

I was going away from SD for SunGod anyway... I don't want to get trampled over by drunkards - I'm glad I'm moving out of dorms soon and that I found my apartment early because my apartmentmate is going to have a huge party at our apartment apparently. I shudder at the thought of what will happen to the living room, kitchen, and the worst of all... the bathroom
