What were your guys high school GPA/SAT scores?

:x I'm interested in UCSD, so I want to know if my current scores will get me in or not

SAT II: lit: forgot;; mathII: 650;; bio (e?): 670;; chem: 560 (?)
GPA (weighted): 3.8
community courses: 5ish (& at other summer programs also)
volunteer: 160+ hours at a hospital & tutoring. (yeah, i had no life...)
sports: yes.
leadership positions/skills: yes.
clubs: yes.

I think the most important factors are leadership skills, volunteer, gpa (sorta), and your passion. (: have fun on your personal statement (: (really!)

At least your SAT is high - significantly higher than mine. Someone I know got into UCSD my year with a 1500/2400 sat and 4.3 gpa. I don't even know how that happened, considering I know plenty of people with high gpa's and high sat's or average gpa's and high sat's, but I hardly know anyone with low sat's and high gpas who got into ucsd.

lol I needed a haircut and I got one of my friend's roommate to cut my hair. It was pretty good Although I probably can't recommend you to him since I don't think he prefers to cut people's hair. Only cause I asked quite a few times since he cut his own hair it looked nice.

well they're not really asian at all, but my bf got his haircut at Lefty's Barbershop in PB...

If you're willing to take a 10-12 minute drive (well, more like 7 min on the freeway, 5 min on the streets), you can always check out Moga Salon. It's located right next to Mitsuwa. You just need to get on Mercury Street (right off the 163 freeway). I heard some good stuff about them, but there have been some bad reviews as well. They only take cash and it can get pricey depending on what you need. YELP is your friend!
