Heya everybody ^^

it's my first time posting a topic the soompi performers section since i pretty much have no form of any artistic talent whatsoever but last week i happened to be a part of the Asian Student Union's performance at our school's diversity assembly x3

we worked really hard on it and i'm really proud of the way it turned out so i decided to share it with everybody

yeah we all built some arm muscle from those ribbons lmao ... most of them are pretty light (except the green ones which are the LONGEST and the HEAVIEST) but they're LONG and we always trip over them or they somehow get knotted x_X

Very nice! I'm a Chinese Traditional Dancer so we use those too! Except we start them out as flowers and then you flick them with your wrists so they unfurl. Did you guys iron the ribbons so they would open up more? Were did you order them from? They're pretty expensive. >_< Haha, I liked the rainbow array of colors. Did you guys choreograph that yourselves? Nice!

Hehe, one criticism- when the dancer with the green ribbon crosses to the right with his ribbons in a wave above his head, his arm are bent too low; he should raise his arms so the ribbon flows more smoothly behind his back and so he doesn't have to work so hard flicking them back and forth.

ooh that's so cool~!! Hehe we actually borrowed the ribbons from a dance studio and had a friend help us teach us the basics before we started choreographing.. as you may be able to tell none of us actually have had any previous ribbon dancing experience =X
