Hi guys and girls,
im not sure, whether this kind of tutorial was posted before, but i cant get the search thing working, so if this is a double post, pls dont flame...

Ok, lets see, u got hundreds and thousands of mp3 albums and u'd like to have album art for every each album of your collection? Yeah, of course u could get the pic for every each album on www.bugs.co.kr. But perhaps u might want to try this way:
Oh, btw, in case u dont know what album art is, here are some screenshots, how u could use them:

as a toast:


as album art in foobar:


as album art in windows media player:


Ok lets start:

1. download and install mp3tag.
2. download this file and put it
3. C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mp3tag\data\sources
Hint: u can get there easily by START-RUN-> %appdata%\mp3tag\data\sources


4. now run mp3tag and open one one of your mp3 directories (or just use drag and drop)
5. choose "ipop" in the tool bar


6. if your mp3 is already tagged correctly, u just click "ok", otherwise type the in artist's name


7. pick the correct album and click "ok"


8. by clicking the floppy symbol, save the picture to the right folder

(dont click "ok" if u dont want your mp3 files re-tagged)

9. the end ^^

ps. i dont use winamp nor itunes, so im not too sure about album art working there, but i think it should work w/o any problems.

pretty useful since freedb doesn't have korean music in their databases so I only could use it for english and some japanese music :/

ipop doesn't seem to have much of a collection since it couldn't find tags for some of my N.EX.T albums

i created this one too, but didnt like it too much, because it didnt show the "YEAR" info in the search thing.
but i tried it to search for 넥스트, and it did find 7 albums. So perhaps u might get some more finds using this one.

dan801, sorry i dont know any way to get the toast thing to work with WMP.
I would suggest to try another mp3 player. ^^
u checked the link above? There u can download Toast plugins for foobar and winamp.

I managed to add soem album art to some of my albumns, but no matterhow hard i try, none of teh sources seem to have DBSK/TVXQ/Dong Bang Shin Ki etc etc T^T
I'm trying to get all teh album art i can before i put it onto my mp3 player =="

you can do this easily with itunes. (as well as adding/changing tags/title/etc)

just right-click and add a picture. itunes = awesome :]
