Flight 93 is going to be movie about the twin towers

what are your opinions on it...?

i think it's truly messed up to make a movie about this, sure you might say it's only a movie, but it will hurt many people. it's has only been 5 years and many people lost their love ones...
this movie has no meaning...

The families of the victims who are being portrayed agreed that it was best to have their stories known.

If people don't want to see it, then don't go see it.

This is a real movie portraying what happened to the 5th plane that was hijacked but didn't end up crashing into anything.

It's based on a real story. I will sure to catch this movie. Initially movie was called Flight 93, but now they changed the title to United 93 due to sponsor purposes. They used United Airways which was also the plane that this incident happened to film this movie. There were four planes that were being hijacked during the 9/11 incident. 1st plane crashed to Twin tower, 2nd plane too. Then third crashed on the Pentagon. Then this movie is based on the fourth plane. The 40 passengers of United 93 will fight back against these hijackers. The plane finally ploughed thru the fields of a small village when the hijackers were being taken down by the passengers.

The families of the victims all gave consent to the director, which surprised me. I think it's too early for a movie like this. But I will catch it nonetheless

it leaves a bad taste in my mouth...plus it looks like a bad tv movie so I'm not going to bother anyways.

i dont mind seeing it..there were apparently some heroes onboard the flight..

yes it eventually crashed but things could of been a lot lot worse..more casualites if crashed in the heart of the city..ie more buildings

there was also a reenactment of flight 93 on the discovery/history channel or some other channel on sept 11 2005. it was all based on evidence they had too, like the black box, victim famliy interview, the phone calls, etc. it was really horrifying to see what the victims must have gone through when they knew they were going to die to all the way when they burst into the cockpit.
this will definitely be intense to see also and if the reenactment is any diff.

Exactly. I hate when people moan about not wanting to see a certain movie get made, when they have the oh-so-easy option of NOT actually having to watch it.

Just let them moan and whine about the film if they want. It's their opinion.. It's obvious that they are not going to watch it..

flight 93 is about the plane that went down in pennsylvania i believe. i read a book about flight 93 and the widow of a fallen hero. his name was tom and he tried to overtake the hijackers before they were going to hit the intended target, the white house.

his last words were, "let's roll!"

i feel like all of em are just playin off ppl's emotions only to make money not to "honor" those that died or "remember them" in any way.

when you make a documentary about 9/11 ...there will ALWAYS be emotion in it because it killed thousands and affected millions of other people around the world. sure there will be a few documentaries out there that only play the emotion card but those are usually the ones that aren't that good. so basically you can't say that the documentaries are just playing with peoples emotion to make money because without emotion in these documentaries..you basically have a bad documentary
