Hey so I've been accepted into both colleges Berkeley and Irvine. I wish I had applied to UCSD because I probably would have gotten in there but unforunately, I didn't because I was receiving a lot of outside pressure not to.
ANYWAYS, I got rejected from UCLA (my dream school). [Does anyone know how difficult it is to receive a reversal decision?]
And the point of this post is: I'm unsure of which college to choose. I know Berkeley is wayy harder to get into and I know that Berkeley is a better school but I'm majoring pre-med so shouldnt it not matter where I go to for undergrad? Biology is biology anywhere.
The thing that attracts me to Irvine is that it is SO-CAL, the warm weather, nice dorms and easier classes to get to medical school. Besides that, I can get easier higher grades @ Irvine, meaning it'd be easier for me to apply to med school.
MOreover, I've been hearing TONS of bad things about berkeley in regards to the dirtiness there, the horrible weather and the superhard, cut-throat competition.
IM SO UNSURE OF WHAT TO DO. I have my parents practically ecstatic that I got into Berkeley, the #1 school and you know how Asian parents are!!
ADVICE ANYONE?!
