Any new/current Mandarin songs that is popular right now? I'm just so getting into mandarin music.
i've been listening to MC HOT DOG & 張震嶽 - 我愛台妹 since people said it's popular, so is it? biggrin.gif

i listen to mainly leehom ^.^ he's good for hip hop and ballads

u tried jay chou? not my cup of tea, but alot of pplz like him - he's more rnb and hiphop

and sun yan zi, liang jing ru - for ballads

wilber - for hip hop

mayday (a band) - for rock

I also like Jay Chou, Stefanie Sun Yan Zi, Wilber Pan, mayday, etc..

For ballads I usually listen to LEehom, DAvid Tao, JJ Lin, Gary Cao, AMei, Elva, Coco Lee

For R/B/HIPHop I listen to LEehom , Jay Chou, Machi, Stanley Haung, Nickie Lee, Coco Lee

All I really listen to right now is Jay Chou, Stefanie Sun Yan Zi, and a band called Nan Quan Mama. I'm so disappointed because everybody underrates Nan Quan Mama, and I think they're amazing. But apparently not many people acknoledge that.

Oh yes, May Day (Wu Yue Tian) is amazing as well.

Lately, the newer songs have really not been to my liking. So I'm on Chinese music hiatus right now. Oh, listen to some of the Super Girl performers. Some of them are really good... while others, I despise.

JJ Lin is okay. S.H.E has only a few songs that I like.

It's mostly up to you.

hmm have you heard of alan kuo or ke you lun? im becoming a fan of him. listen to ku xiao bu de and his famous theme song ling etc.

Can't think of female equivalents of those three. Still have yet to hear a mainstream female pop artist in C-pop that can sing really well.

OMG I love Gary Cao. He's aCTUALLY CAN SING!!! AHHH

I havn't heard vocals as good as him in cpop since DAvid tao and Leehom.

and tension...too bad they arn't that popular they were really good. Well David tao was their producer so I mean that's probably why phew.gif But still, I really liked them, it's a pity they kind of dissapeared.
