Hello,
The problem is that when I start MSN Messenger, after a few seconds..it disappears in the quicklaunch and the taskbar. When I go to the 'Windows Task Manager'..it says msnmsgr.exe is still working..but it doesn't show. I've tried re-installing and un-installing the same version..then I moved onto other different version..in hope of finding one that works. But up to this point none work..for a long period of time. Most of the time..when I try to log in..it doesn't work. MSN Messenger sometimes works and sometimes doesn't (more of doesn't). So please, anyone? Is it due to a virus or something? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Perhaps you don't want to hear this, but I have no idea.
I try to avoid leaving people confused, so have you considered something completely different such as GAIM? http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ its ugly, might not be just like MSN but is free and should work fo ryou.
