omg, i love the series (my DAD bought both seasons and told me they're good)... i haven't seen the third season though (i'm pretty sure i'd get expelled if i watched it here)... anyways, i think the 1st season is better than the 2nd... i didn't like the whole thing with kit and the cross-dresser, i didn't really like the dana-alice pairing (although tonya is even worse omg), and i hate that tina and better are separated and that helena woman's ruining everything... oh and i'm straight and all, but that girl who plays alex is sooooo hot...

-EDIT- shane! that's her name! i got confused with the les from the oc (hot, but not as hot as shane)... yeah, shane's hot and her voice is *sigh*

I watched all 3 seasons, and thing can only get worse, season 3 is a total disaster, you won't see Alice and Dana pairing again, cuz one them will be dead! and Kit got herself a cute guy.....and.......the whole thing is just tragic, no happy ending for anyone (except Kit).

Currently, I watching season 4 and I'm absolutely loving this show. I can definitely learn more stuff than watching "Desperate Housewifes". But yeah, I was just curious if anyone watches this show. I mean there are nudity and other rated R stuff but please be mature about it. I find all those actresses so professional and good at delivering message regarding about politic issues. Well, I got to admit beside those topics they address, another reason I watch this show is because they have tons of hot actresses like Jennifer Beals, Erin Daniels ( she died in season 3 =( ), Katerine Moennig and Marlee Matlin (started in current season).

This season I was so shocked they add Marlee Matlin. I mean she gorgeous and everything but I didn't know she was deaf in real life. Her role really add in the extra spices in the L Word. Seeing her in the show makes me want to learn sign language.

So pplz, give in your comments or at least tell me if you watch this show. To pplz who didn't know this show existed, tell me if you want to watch this show after I create this topic. LOL.

OMG! i looove season 4. haha. actually i find tt season 3 sucked the most. the plot doesnt gel well with season 2. and just when it was getting better. well, i cant complain coz 4 seems to be picking up where it left off.

so far i've only caught the first 2 episodes. it broke my heart to see shane suffer so. her snorting coke at tt b*tch cherrie jaffie's place, and her getting hurt in tt car accident and stuff. mean, yea she was wrong to have ran off like that, still... i got a soft spot for her. i miss carmen too! i hate tt papi character. alice is reallly funny! so is helena. the 14,000$ lace up boots made me laugh. marina's baack! dang she's hot!

i agree that the L word, is more than just pretty faces and hot sex. i like how they bring across problems of different sorts, whether its relationships, among frds, work, and just being a person on the whole. queer as folk just dont come on the same level! XD

I really could care less what people say about the show..It's well written and the characters are awesome. And what makes it good (believe it or not) is that bad things happen. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine and that's one of the reasons why I love the show so much...
and Season 4 is just...awesome..I love the new characters. Papi is something else and I love how Shane evolved into something no one would have ever seen her as..
Although, I really miss Dana, it's nice to see the show is moving along nicely

You're going a bit fast in conclusions, should not be that sure of it. I still consider Lword as a fake vision of lesbian world, nothing I've seen in it recalls to my neither my friend' reality. Lword is a pure commercial stuff brough to light by powerful producer tackling the lesbian wave. Nothing more.

Other bad point is the US view about lesbian affairs. Easy to do concordism when you have money, as your (fake) view becomes a reference for fresh audience. From where I live, I've heard about many yound lesbian and bi putting Lword as a divine level, how sad it is seeing that. I mean these girls are "sure" acting like Lword characters is being "true" lesbian lifestyle. I have a word for things ruining our free-willing but I thing soompi's word filter will replace it by ****.

Be sure I'm not being so pessimist because there are not a single asian girl in the show (who knows ?), Lword actresses are ugly.
