and im thinking along with you... they kinda said before that they were gonna make an album and then they changed their minds and decided to release a single. but nonetheless, im satisfied with what they have. hopefully "the grace" of their voices/acapella will be showcased this weekend. THREE MORE DAYS till their perf!!!!!

i wonder if they still plan on making/releasing their 1st album.

thanks for posting the link alexiel! hmm... i got when i saw their hairs, probably because it's the first time i've seen them with their hairs like this. really doesn't suit them. at first i thought they look like manequins. i prefer their long beautiful stylistic hairs.

I think adding "The Grace" is just to make a statement. The group is still technically called Cheon Sang Ji Hee, they just have a title now. With the "The Grace", it makes a major statement to the press as well as to us fans. It announces that the girls can REALLY sing and that they aren't just another typical girl group that only relies on sex appeal to sell albums. SM wants people to focus more on their voices because the last two songs that TSZX promoted were mainly dance oriented. As corny as it may seem right now, this method will probably work and people will probably start paying more attention to TSZX's voices and not just their looks. SM is genius. x:

Okay, here's my two cents.

열정(My Everything): A really impressive ballad. The harmonies are beautiful & it's one of those songs I can just listen to over and over. I've always liked DANA's voice & this song just makes me love it more. I love the way she sings her lines. The chorus is really strong, especially at the end. This song will definitely sound amazing live, especially at the end when the music fades out & it's only their voices. The way the parts are lined up reminds me of Too Good, especially with DANA starting and ending. Just like Too Good, the order is DANA, Sunday, LINA & then Stephanie. However, unlike Too Good LINA & Stephanie get a lot more chances to shine, especially in the adlibs. Stephanie's vocals have obviously gotten better; more controlled unlike when TSZX first debuted & she was just loud and all over the place when it came to live performances. I love, love, love this song. It's a good song to make a comeback with and if SM really does want to show off more of their vocals, this is definitely the song to do it with. The only minor disappointment is that it's not a sad song, I was kind of looking forward to a sad ballad. Haha. x:

The Final Sentence: This song kind of shocked me cause I thought it would be a ballad as well. However, it ended up as a medium tempo song. My only complaint is that it gets a little boring cause there is so much time where it's just music. I love the ending though, "This is my mind, this is my life.". It reminds me of the b-sides that BoA has in all her Japanese singles recently. Okay, but not amazing.

IRIS (할 말이 있어요): Awesome song. Once again, Stephanie shows us that she can handle slow songs & she has much more control over her voice. The chorus is really pretty but doesn't outshine 열정(My Everything) which should be a good thing since it's not the main song. The downside? The first two songs were slow/medium tempoed. It gets really repetative by the third song and you kind of start feeling like you want a fast song to pick up the mood. The song itself is really good though. :)

Faith: We've all heard this before. It sounds exactly the same as when the girls sing it live, which is a good thing. Chi-kuh-uh-chi-kuh-chi-kuh-uh-uh!

열정(My Everything) Radio Edit Version: I think this is probably the version the girls will be singing live? It's shorter but it gets to the point and includes all the highlights of the song without taking up too much time.

Overall, it's a very solid single. A little on the safe side but still good nonetheless. The next song they promote will need to be a fast song though. This single is overloaded with slow/medium tempo songs, any more could be boring.

What can I say, Cheon Sang Ji Hee is the shiat.

Yes, I said Cheon Sang Ji Hee, not Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace. They are still Cheon Sang Ji Hee, "The Grace" is just a title like King Arthur "The Great". You don't need to sang Cheon Sang Ji Hee "The Grace" every time. Just like you wouldn't always call King Arthur, King Arthur "The Great". King Arthur is enough, just like Cheon Sang Ji Hee is.
