If you have Korean installed, and the Language bar is there, here are some tricks.
One thing, when installing, if you have a choice, install the "IME 2002" Keyboar IME. I don't think the older one does a lot of this stuff. If some of this doesn't work (particularly the IME Pad), try unistalling and re-installing Eastern Language support. To un-install, make sure no programms are running, and do as if you were installing it, only UNcheck th "Install files for East Asian Language support, and click on OK. Then re-install.
Here's the basic Language bar:

Click on the 'EN' for the toggle menu:

Click on the 'KO' to change it to Korean:

--------------------------------------
Right-click on the bar, nad there's a menu to change some settings:

--------------------------------------
For the rest of these, I've turned off "Text Labels", since it takes up less space that way.
You may not see all the options. Click on the downward-pointing triangle on the right end of the bar for another menu:

---------------------------------------
Clicking the "Soft Keyboard" button puts a keyboard on the screen. You can type by clicking on its keys, or use it as a guide for the regular keyboard:

--------------------------------------
Clicking the "IME Pad" button gives you a simple menu:

-----------------------------------------
Selecting the Handwriting option gives you a little pad you can write Hangul on:

It will give you a selection of what you might want (here, I tried to enter "Chang"):

--------------------------------------------
If you have some Hagul text highlighted, clicking on the "Hanja" button brings up a menu:

Choosing one of these to convert selected Hangul to Hanja:
