it's been working perfectly up until now.
when i do that whole key sequence i usually do to type in korean,
it says KO, then i start typing, but it's in ENGLISH >____<
usually, the language bar has other icons [like a handwriting thing or something?] but now it doesn't.
i used to have to do that key sequence, then click on the "A" to change it to a korean character [i forgot which one, sorry -___-]
%$#@! if you can help me, i'd be mooosstt grateful! (:
nevermind, thanks anyway! ^_____^

Make sure you click IN the window you want to type, so it's selected before you change the IME. Then check in the little IME tab and see if it's in KO

I've been looking for a program that would enable me to type Korean. I don't have the Korean language pack installed on my Windows XP nor do I have the CD so downloading it from the site or installing it from CD wouldn't be an option. However, I can view hangul on my computer because I downloaded a Korean language support a while ago but that doesn't allow me to actually type it. I was wondering if any of you out there have a free program that would let me write Korean?
I've tried different programs like NJ star, etc, but those have an annoying registration pop up and it has a trial date and expires.. etc etc..

Next to Korean on the bar should be either a letter or a character with Han/Eng.
If theres an A then click it and it should turn to a character.
After that you should be able to type in Korean.
If it's on your toolbar then...
Press the button next to the KO if it's an A.
It should turn to a character then you should
be able to type in Korean.
Hope I helped.
I was getting really frustrated,
but then realizing that my bar was at the bottom
[ with only EN / KO option ] I decided to press 'Show Language Bar'
& then when it went to the top of my screen, I finally got the A Han/Eng
Thank you so much !
감사함니다!!

I tried to get the Language Interface Pack on the website, but they don't have Korean as one of the choices -__-

It makes everything easier if you are a beginner at using a computer or don't wish to refer to the key map image.
Here's my keyboard (excuse my ice-cream :]): http://anonym.to/?http://img337.imageshack...image002gq8.jpg
