^ Nope, Tezuka is played by Yuu Shirota.
The actor who played Smile from Ping Pong is Arata.
Beside from the glasses, I don't really see much similarities between the two.

Most of the actors in the PoT movie are from the musical. Except for Ryoma, I'm pretty sure than almost everybody else are from the latest musical that was performed in Japan. It should be pretty interesting how they do the tennis moves though, because in the musical to simulate the physics-defying moves all they had was glaring lights that moved across the stage. xD

anyone have a picture of the main characters? i read somewhere they're the same as the one in the musical, but they look different though...
