I'm thinking about getting one of the Sony Vaio laptops. are those good? so far i've heard mostly good things about it..

i think the main reason people want to get them is because they're stylish and i want to get one too... but they are so expensive and their specs are so not nearly as good as it should be at that price range. have you considered asus? their laptops are really good and a lot cheaper than sonys.

Sonys are merely mediocre. They are like.. I dunno, overpriced Apple products or something. They don't even appear to be that stylish to me, but that seems to be the premise for their pricing nonsense. Sure, sonys will get the job done, but you can basically get the same computer for cheaper from any other guy basically.
