Lol. Anybody want to hear my analysis of the whole Haruhi x ??? deal? I typed this up a while ago in another forum, so I'm just copy-pasting it. ^^
I think in the end it might be Tamaki or one of the twins (I mean...maybe the manga makes more sense with that one...).
But I think Haruhi looks really cute with anybody (With the exception of Hunny, maybe if he grew taller. xD But I did like the picture of them together in one of the mangas, the one where Hatori drew Hunny as a knight).
The only problem with Tamaki x Haruhi is that it seems a really one-sided sort of love. But I do like Tamaki, he's so hilarious. And the anime seemed to support the pairing much more than any other.
Hikaru x Haruhi seems more prominent in the anime. I didn't really think much of them in the manga. Kaoru x Haruhi, maybe more in the manga during the 9th Volume. I think the whole idea that Haruhi's sort of the one that's infiltrated their world that makes me think that one of them might end up with her. In that sense, she's alot more special to them. But then again, there's a whole sibling thing going on with them too ("I suggest we adopt Haruhi into our family, what do you think of it?" - English translation of the manga), so it might just end up as a more brother-sisterly relationship.
Kyouya. I like him alot, I don't know why. And I enjoy imagining Haruhi and him together, only it seems I'm more delusional than you'd think. xD; Because Haruhi doesn't think much of him. Lol, 'Shadow King'. But even with the whole anime ending with his and Tamaki's father wanting to marry Haruhi off to their sons, Imean. It doesn't really matter does it? Because that part of the story doesn't exist in the manga. Plus, the anime most probably won't continue (Seeing as everybody found out Haruhi was a girl. At least, that's what I figured, seeing as she was dancing in a dress at the end). Sooo, as much as I would like to see them together, I guess I'll just have to stick with fanfiction for that. xD;
Mori, it was really cute in the Haruhi x Mori anime episode. I think it was really cute because Mori seemed to pay alot more attention to Haruhi after that episode. In the manga it seems more obvious though, because of all the things Mori does for Haruhi (Lol. Like catching a mountain hog). The mini episode with Mori was really cute too, but technically, it can't be seen as Mori's true feelings because Hunny isn't himself either when he wakes up.
Mitsukuni...as I said before, I wish he were taller. xD Even though he's just sooo adorable. Hahaha. But Hunny's really a smart kid, all throughout the manga and the anime, even though he's a KAWAII! character, he really has alot of depth. I don't think he's appropriate, simply because he doesn't show that much interest in Haruhi. And he quite observative and seems to know how all the other members feel about her. ^^
Though, I'm looking at all of it in more more objective sense. xD I'd like her to end up with Kyouya, but my logical side tells me it's probably not going to happen. o_o But...I don't really care that much who she ends up with. xD It'll be fun to find out, but I'm not all that bothered~
