Lambda Phi Epsilon is the largest Asian-Interest fraternity at 46 chapters in the United States and is one of the fastest expanding fraternities in the nation.

Lambda Phi Epsilon was founded at University of California, Los Angeles on February 25, 1981. Soon after the inception of Lambda Phi Epsilon, the fraternity chartered to Universities in Texas and the East Coast with the University at Buffalo - Nu Chapter being the first. In 1990, the organization was recognized by the North-American Interfraternity Conference, being the first Asian Interest fraternity to do so. The fraternity has since expanded to all corners of the United States and beyond.

Haha Lambda's in my school try to act like they're from the hood and i can't read, and try to pick fights in their parties. I remember some dude from Lambda's started i can't read with Aznboy, and ended up getting his ass whipped by several Aznboy gang members...the sad part is he got beat up in front of his pledge bro's, and they didn't do i can't read about it cause they didn't want to get involved with gangs...so long to brotherhood!

The Lambdas at UT are being suspended for the next 6 years because a new pledge bro of theirs died last semester (2005) - most likely from too much alcohol. Here's an article from the UT student-ran newspaper: http://www.dailytexanonline.com/media/pape...texanonline.com

the UCI chapter is suspended because they "played a heavily stacked football game" with some other frat (forgot the details) and ended up killing one of the kids.

way to go idiots. hate this frat with a passion.

I'm pretty sure Lambda has basically brought shame to the founders.. they all look like nerds.. now the lambda chapters I've seen all seem to just be concerned about the normal frat stuff... like buying friends, getting wasted and accidentally killing people every so often.
I am the minority here.

shut up.

seriously, you can't take what you've seen from a handful of lambda's and assume that all lambda's everywhere are all the same. and if you're not in greek life, don't talk about it as if you actually know what you're talking about.. you don't. the end.

lol i love u - i agree... i have to sayy... i have met some i can't read lambdas, but not only lambdas, i met some assholes in other fraternities. But it's only them, others that i've met are really nice. You can't judge a whole fraternity based on a handful of people.

Of course there are alot of non-greek people who like to do that also, but I was only referring to the Lambdas I know - not making a general conscientious about the whole national organization. So no need to get all excited dry.gif

I'm sure that there are some nice Lambdas, and it's a shame that they don't get recognized for doing more good things. But with all kinds of news, bad news is more heavily/often reported than good news.
