Sorry, I'm just REALLY asian, and I hang out with asians all my life, so i'm kind of feel uncomfortable about this (even though I know I shouldn't be but i can't help it).

asians are scattered everywhere.....fobs are also everywhere as well.
i think there should be a good amount of asians in each area (tercero/segundo/caurto/etc)

i heard castilian hall in caurto (this hall is for transfers) has a major party scene.
but i doubt it's the same in other halls.
and not everyone loves parties.

i stayed at tercero south for summer advising but someone said segundo was the best(?) haha plus, i made my choice looking at pictures online. but hey, since you lived there, i'll take your word for it :]

until they built tercero south building 1&2 =)
haha altho there is one structure in segundo that is nice that was built a few years back they ahve a bike garage! x[
everyone was soooo jealous of us HAHahahh

1&2 last year were for honors students.
excpet they didn`t have that many honor students last year so we kids filled the 3rd and 4th floor

NOOOPE! i'm assuming it works the same way. i'm on the 4th floor. i'm stuck in a triple and i'm trying to figure out how we split 2 closets with 3 people.

yeah, i'm in work study. what do you want to know?

the chem building is really really close to tercero, wellman and the socsci building are a little bit closer to segundo but not that far away from tercero, they are almost equidistant from the two dorm areas.

just be glad you dont live in cuarto.

and depends how fast you bike.

I got my room assignment, and my new room mate is a white girl which is okay with me, but I kind of want to dorm with an asian cuz it feels more comfortable, you know?

Anyways, my dorm place is in cuarto (i wannted segundo damn it!)
and i got a suite (when I didn't want)

But the real reason why I really want to switch out is cuz I didn't get the place I wanted (segundo), the type of configuration,.. arghhhh. Everything about my living arrangement is so WRONG.

I'm probably just pestimistic about this though.

seriously i was in the same position u were last year.. i stayed in my suite and barely talked to my roommate....haha not fun! webster, emerson, thoreau is just on the edge of campus, a few minutes on bike will get u to the end of campus. Your not pessimestic its just reality, just make sure u get the right idea b4 u decide

i have a question about taking physics 7a.
since it also includes lab, how does it work?
on my schedule it only shows two lectures and one discussion section, where did the lab section go?

in ucsc, you had to enroll in the lecture and lab seperately.
i guess ucsc is just wierd.

btw i just realized ochem 8a+8b are only 6 units combined, with no lab for 8a.
damn i took a total of 14 units (with 2 labs) when i was in ucsc.

the negative means that they OWE you. i know..confusing...i had to call student accounting

u can either sign up for direct deposit so they directly deposit ur aid or...i think they send u a check? not sure
