HEY guys im kinda new to soompi.... but reading about all the different things im like addicted to it already!!!!!

ANYWAY...

I just wanted to know from the people that got accepted was it hard to get in? How were your grades in highschool because mine are kinda ok but... iono....

Also wat kinda classes did u guys take? Lots of Ap's or not a lot?

._. my GPA wasn't very good, it was like..., 3.7 Weighted and 3.3 unweighted x_x

but even i know a few people that had like..., 3.0-3.1's Weighted who got in

Omg, you'll love the feeling when you find out that you got accepted. hehe. Or, @ least i did.. Hmm, actually i was almost guaranteed a spot b/c i was in the top 4% of my HS (ELC). Uhm... Just keep up your GPA in school. UCD has a 98%~ guaranteed acceptance of ELC students i believe... so i think i got the chance that way.. Just keep your grades up... and my test scores on the SATs were horrible. So i think i was saved by the ELC program. >_< gah.. I can't wait now!!

MaryMagdalin- are you a Design major as well??? omg, i'm soooo excited!!! my tour guide was the same and i was surprised b/c it's so unknown. >_< hehe

Major: Animal Biology
Housing: dont know yet
About yourself: i loooooove animals!! haha... i want to eventually get to ucd vet school. i work at islands so that i can buy a bike when i leave home in september :] im also a band geek ;D

i have a question about the dorms:
i know there are both goods and bads of all the dorms, and that some buildings are nice and soem are not.
but which one should i go for as my first choice: segundo or tercero?

Housing: a house in davis...still on the hunt.
Description: I currently live in the east bay...I am moving up with two friends i've met and gotten close with this past semester at jc...i'm 18 years old, female, korean. and hope to join a club or two (KSA?...), and meet some eating buddies! hehehe...

well its getting pretty popular in davis right now,

if you`re a person who likes making something for you final
instead of taking a test,

LIVE IN CUARTO! OR TERCERO ... cuarto - its the suite so there's 5 people living in a suite with 2 bathrooms. you don't need to use those community bathrooms! castillian south's DC sucks....tercero dc is the best

The other day I saw someone surfing on soompi in Shield's library (that's what I'm doing now!). I thought it was funny, but I didn't think it would be kind for me to say hi... hahaha... you know, random stranger stuff. Is there like a Soompi facebook group or something?

Still young, but I feel incredibly old. Silly me.

Hello. I might attend UCDavis (major:design) next year (class of '08.) Only IF I get accepted, that is.
Well, anyhow, can anyone-- who's majoring design there give me their two cents on how it's like? I'm getting more and more curious because I know my senior year will go by quickly and it might as well be time to turn in college applications. Thank you.
