I didn't see it but I was in the area over at Freeborn donating blood and heard all the people outside. Got my free t-shirt. LOL. Now I need to go back to studying for my chem midterm tomorrow....

No. There are some courses that you have to take in Man. Econ that you don't have to take in regular Econ. Other than that, they're somewhat similar. For Managerial Economics major requirements, go here:
http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/UCDWebCatalog.../meconreqt.html
you can compare them alongside the econ website and you'd know the difference.
Ooh, I heard there was a line to donate. Nice... I think last year they gave out ice cream for Baskin Robbins. Gluck with your midterm!!

do you really need to have a bike? my friends keep saying i do but iono if i'd want to bring one. and is it true that you have to pay more for a suite with 4 people and how much more? what is there to do in davis since they say its " in the middle of nowhere". my family and i are planning to visit tomorrow because i didnt get to go to picnic day.
you don't need a bike, but it's def. recommended since the campus is really big.
i'm not sure if u have to pay more for a suite, but you do get your own living room and 2 bathrooms compared to if you dorm in a building in which you would have to share the lounge with everyone and the bathroom with everyone on that floor.
there's not much to do in davis actually, but we're by sac and vacaville.

Can most people graduate in 4 years? or does it take a little longer, like another quarter

I was one of the cultural dancers there. GEEEeee. I felt horrible after messing up the dance.
But.. I had so much spirit that day, i was in the teach-out "rally" on the way across the quad too.
And yes, i saw all those signs. On the way to the MU, i was holding a sign in viet or thai.. I wasn't sure myself.
But it was an awesome experience!!
And.. i'm actually minoring in ManEc. >__< Currently working on my math portion though.

For the most part, liberal arts/social science majors graduate in 4. A lot of people are either 4 and one quarter or 5 years if they're in a science/engineering major.

middle of nowhere and there isn't much to do(besides tipping cows?). lol.
I got accepted as a transfer, and I'm not very good with an extremely boring lifestyle. I'm all up for joining clubs and stuff
to get my social life going, but I'm not sure if that's enough to keep me busy enough to keep me from getting homesick. since i love home
For those of you who go there, is it really THAT boring? 0_0 are there any good malls, hangout spots, coffee shops.. etc?
also does anyone know anything about the interior design major there? because It sounds really appealing to me. is it any good?

Are you serious?! You guys were amazing! I couldn't tell if anyone made any mistakes, I don't think the crowd could either. Don't sweat it, the dance was fantastic. Did you hear the spoken word performances? Crazy mad, but it was a lot of fun.

My cousin graduated from the interior design program here. She opted for Davis over Cal since she wanted the design program that badly. Now she's working for a design firm in SF.

Anywhere can be boring. As long as you the right group of people with you, just hanging out at the MU can be fun. ;D

there's no mall here (but we are located by arden fair in sac and vacaville outlets) and popular hang out spots off campus is at old tea house (pearl tea place).

i love old tea house! the popcorn chicken there is awesome and it's cheap. there's usually a lot of people there so you have to wait for your stuff. i saw my chem 2A professor from last quarter there last time i went. he was so much better than my current chem 2B professor

sounds like ur cousin made the right choice?
Yea, like I said, I'm willing to join the clubs and go out and make the friends but I'm just concerned about the things we can do around davis to be more specific. haha~ I think I'm definitely gonna need to bring the car though
