not sure if this post goes in this section but i thought id give it a try. im currently enrolled at bellevue community college and preparing to start in the summer quarter. i will be registering for accounting 101 and im in need of a required textbook. instead of buying from the book store and paying over 100.00 for a single book i was wondering if anyone has this book:

College Accounting, Chapters 1-25 & DVD Pkg, 9th ed. by Jeffrey Slater, Pearson Prentice-Hall
ISBN: 0-13-107234-X

please post here or email me directly at ms.mel@verizon.net with an offer. thanks! biggrin.gif

Whoa! 0.0 I didn't think anyone else from BCC was on here! What a small world. XD I'm not taking acctg, but if you need a cheaper text, I highly suggest you buy used online or buy the last edition of the text. (It's a little known secret that previous editions are oftentimes virtually the same as current editions. If you're not sure, visit the publisher's website, and see the "features" or "new to this edition" links. Every publisher has one.)

If you're down in Tukwila I know a good used bookstore, lol.

Since you have the ISBN, buy it online! I use campusbooks.com, which basically searches various sites that sell textbooks and gives you a breakdown of the prices at each so you can easily find the best deal.

Yep, online is the way to go. No one likes to commute. Amazon's good, Half.com too. Bookbyte's in OR, so they offer pretty fast shipping.
