Most probably this performance was on the same day he first had his comeback stage on MuBank, 12/11. The redness of that stage was still evident. XD~ GYM Ent. as backdrop is <3!

I love the fact that his 4 performances had some variations in the choreo. Same dance still but Jiwon was able to add in some adlib moves here and there. Same with the outfit, still the same jumpsuit but it still feels different with each perf. But his moves are definitely getting sharper each time. He didn't look like an agent this time around though haha. Btw, i love those screaming fangirls everytime Jiwon does the dog leg dance. lol.

Haven't seen Sketchbook yet. Wasn't able to catch it although i even left early just so i could watch it. I had to pass up a free movie and i missed it?! Tsk, blame it on the traffic!! Anyhoo, how was it? He wore a black jacket? ...not the jumpsuit? That's a nice change, can't wait to watch it. XD~

Btw ice, how are we going to do the 100 reasons? Shouldn't we have a format or something so it wouldn't look messy? Like should we start the sentence with "We love Jiwon because...." or "We love the way Jiwon....." or "We love how Jiwon is....." or "We love how Jiwon makes us...." Hmmmm, what else? or should we just do it in wateber you could think of?~~

But you are right G, the steps are the same but he varies some moves here and there. Noticed that before too and I remember I said something about him exerting that conscious effort. I've danced and performed at stages as well, and from my perspective you could only do that when you're truly truly confident about yourself. I mean, you could only subtly change a move when you know how to cover it up if in case it doesn't work. But he does it, he alters it so coolly that you'd think it's all part of what he practiced.

G! Thanks for GIF-ing the wave again. The moment I saw it, I had to replay it over and over again! I didn't even finish the performance first. Hahaha. And that last move, caught it as well! He popped that torso like he was just an idol. Hahaha. He truly is something. Heart!

Re: his outfit. He doesn't look like an agent here, but a genuine dancer. I mean, isn't it that's how dancers (sans the yellow patches) dress up? Really, I've seen a couple of 'em wearing similar clothing strutting in the mall. Haha.

By the way, I just noticed this; as I was re-watching his performance (as soon as I woke up!) we really didn't get to see his face that much. Usually I would be bothered by that cap since it's shadowing his face or I would complain about the bad lighting, etc. But I was much too engrossed in his performance that it didn't even matter anymore. AND THIS IS A GOOD THING! Cause the rest of the public can fully appreciate him.

You know girls, I really had a good feeling about this performance though this may have been very well the same day he did his first comeback when we said he was nervous and all. It gave me chills cause I got this foresight that his present comeback concept may very well solidified his niche in the industry. Okay follow me on this one, this is his fourth broadcast-ed (well, technically second?) performance and he has been accepted very warmly. His new concept, dance, contemporary and yes even the dreadlocks and flashy suits, isn't really new at all. It's not something that hasn't been done and it's not like he NEVER did it before either (I'm talking about dancing, not the outfits. LOL) But it's his smooth transition from one genre to another that is really impressive. His idea is not that innovative but his guts are. His unitary concept is not unheard of, but his transformations are. When I say that this may have 'solidified his niche' I meant that he will be that original entertainer to spread himself so well in all areas. Back then who could have ever thought that this kid from a former idol group, who polishes his image and cleans up his act, would be like this now. Yes, idol groups are idolized, are to be worshiped and patronized but let us admit it, (in a certain point) their other colleagues don't think of them too highly, the entertainment industry don't lock-in idol groups that long, some of them plateaus and most just come and go (except Shinhwa, that's why they're the best), their members get forgotten and their past is just a blurry chapter. Not all of them will get equal opportunities and get accepted after their stint as idol groups are done. But look at Jiwon now, he has traveled so far since those days. Looking at his old self, you wouldn't think that he would be this reputable now. YET, he IS the same person. He never changed, he only changed the way we look at him. He has come full-circle. From pleasing the norms of society to fighting it then being it. From maintaining a particular image to straying away to having it. From being phenomenal to mediocre to incomparable.

For posting purposes now you don't have to phrase it similarly, i.e. starting all sentences with "I love Jiwon because.." o "I love his..", any is fine. As long it's your reason, I won't hold it against you. Hehe. Cause later on, I would be re-editing the phrasing so they'd all be parallel so don't fret about it now. Or if it appears fine as is, then I can just put it all together. Haha. I won't know until we reach our hurdle.

Waiting for it basically the whole night and day today.... it was definitely worth it. I truly loved his Sketchbook guesting, it totally had a different feel from his previous performances. A nice change indeed XD~ (now if only he would do Music Travel Lalala, that would be <3!! i'm still hoping for that.)

Seeing Jiwon with a bit of a smirk was funny though. & cute. Like he was not sure of what he's going to do at first. He looked nervous somehow and shy i guess. This was definitely something new for him. He was a pop idol turned rapper/hiphop artist slash dancer and for him to sing Adios in a manner that was so different from what he used to do, he must've felt awkward somehow~ but he did great. I just love this remix version of Adios. & yes finally we are able to hear him sing. & he's got a really a nice singing voice. So soothing. ; )

But i think he would've felt more comfortable if he was seated. XD~

Jiwon is one hella of a rapper, and he's shown that he still got the groove when it comes to dancing... But he has just proven now that he can most definitely sing. So Jiwon FTW! Platonic is great as it is but it would have been perfect if it wasn't autotuned too much. If only we heard more of his singing on the whole album!!~~ <3

Hi susu0510, welcome to the Alphabet Family we just can't help but be 'adored' by this ejw guy right? XD~

You know girls, I really had a good feeling about this performance though this may have been very well the same day he did his first comeback when we said he was nervous and all. It gave me chills cause I got this foresight that his present comeback concept may very well solidified his niche in the industry. Okay follow me on this one, this is his fourth broadcast-ed (well, technically second?) performance and he has been accepted very warmly. His new concept, dance, contemporary and yes even the dreadlocks and flashy suits, isn't really new at all. It's not something that hasn't been done and it's not like he NEVER did it before either (I'm talking about dancing, not the outfits. LOL) But it's his smooth transition from one genre to another that is really impressive. His idea is not that innovative but his guts are. His unitary concept is not unheard of, but his transformations are. When I say that this may have 'solidified his niche' I meant that he will be that original entertainer to spread himself so well in all areas. Back then who could have ever thought that this kid from a former idol group, who polishes his image and cleans up his act, would be like this now. Yes, idol groups are idolized, are to be worshiped and patronized but let us admit it, (in a certain point) their other colleagues don't think of them too highly, the entertainment industry don't lock-in idol groups that long, some of them plateaus and most just come and go (except Shinhwa, that's why they're the best), their members get forgotten and their past is just a blurry chapter. Not all of them will get equal opportunities and get accepted after their stint as idol groups are done. But look at Jiwon now, he has traveled so far since those days. Looking at his old self, you wouldn't think that he would be this reputable now. YET, he IS the same person. He never changed, he only changed the way we look at him. He has come full-circle. From pleasing the norms of society to fighting it then being it. From maintaining a particular image to straying away to having it. From being phenomenal to mediocre to incomparable.

You don't need to number it (but it does help a bit). Haha. And re: G's question about the format. For posting purposes now you don't have to phrase it similarly, i.e. starting all sentences with "I love Jiwon because.." o "I love his..", any is fine. As long it's your reason, I won't hold it against you. Hehe. Cause later on, I would be re-editing the phrasing so they'd all be parallel so don't fret about it now. Or if it appears fine as is, then I can just put it all together. Haha. I won't know until we reach our hurdle.

I'll be realistic, I can't have this up and completed when the 100th page really comes. We will just be reserving the spot and we'll edit it later on when everything's collated. The goal is that the century page will be similar to 1N2D thread's page 440. Where all the summary and Jiwon's facts will be and additional stuff, hopefully. This right G? Cause this was G's idea initially and we just added to it. Hehe. You can keep adding even after the hundredth page mark, cause I doubt the remaining 2 pages would be enough considering he will be making appearances this weekend! We can just let it overlap since we can't really control the number of posts coming in.

Something unexpected just happen. While watching entertainment weekly, EJW was being interview and it is during the making of his MV. It's just a short interview and I don't understand what they say. But because its EJW I just watch.

I love Jiwon because of
- his smart and unique statements.
- his lovely ( sometimes violent ) friendship with Mong
- his bursting out of laughter.
- his childlike happiness of every little things.
And when
- he did the Dooly face just to relieve his brother Huh Dang's stress.
- he screamed out so loud to scare fishes so that Ho Dong and Su Geun could catch them ( they are so smart and creative).
- he was in the pouts just because he could not pick figs as much as his teammates could.
Just seeing his appearance in 1N2D every week makes me happy.

Sorry you guys for having been silent for a long time ( I guess 2 weeks ). You all did a great job.

Right now I'm addicting to his sixth track- Everything. I wish he will promote it soon by making a MV with some bright colors. Except for those weird colorful vests, he is only wearing dark clothes when performing music. Time to change!!!!
