Bookstores don't carry it because it's a publication for schools mostly. You should order it from the publisher =)

yeah this is a great book. my teacher recommended it to our class last year.
although i actually didn't finish reading it in time for the AP test.. i scored a 5!
(i was only a couple chapters away-_-)
i ordered the book last year from amazon. i think.
it's a pretty hard book to find though..

i'm taking the exam too
my final starts next week in class..my teacher's giving us an old apush exam
i have princeston review...i'm liking it so far
i took a sample test and did pretty well all it.
i recomment the book Don't Know Much About History
I think it'll help a lot with the essys.
has anyone taken the SAT II us history?
i signed up for it..and i read over the test description stuff at collegeboard.com but i still don't know what to expect
is it similar to the ap exam?
harder...easier?

Always try to finish your essay. One of the worst things you can do is read the question, assume you don't know anything and give up. Just keep writing because the AP readers can't give you points for what you don't write.
Time is precious. Use the time you're given to plan out your essay to read the questions (or passage). Don't spend too much time on one question only to find out you have 10 minutes left to write your last essay. Bring a watch!
Don't skip around between questions (like answer part of quetion 1 then going to part 2 of question 3...). It's easy to get confused or lose your train of thought. Go back and edit if you have to if you have time at the end.
Go ahead and write in margins. As long as you're neat it's fine.
And remember to take a deep breath before your test and just relax. There's no point in stressing out and making yourself unable to write. You'll do just fine.
