So.. deciding on a new cell phone >__< like so many other people in this forum sleep.gif

well.. looking at the Sony Ericsson W900.. really nice.. has everything I need: 2.0MP camera, mp3 player, etcetc. I like the swivel style ^__^
but..... does it work in the USA? under Tmobile service or something.. o__o cause they didn't release it in the USA officially but I've heard that some people have it in the USA.

W900!:

annnnnd... any other similar phones to this?? that has a 2.0+MP camera and a mp3 player with expandable memory.. also a STYLISH flip/swivel phone (no sliders... >__>)

edit: what do you guys think of the Nokia N90?

2MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, MMC card, mp3 player, costs a little bit less than the w900.
looks like the one in Advent Children ^__^

thanks! smile.gif

i really dont feel the w900i. the bulky feeling i got on my hand, just a opinion anyways. so i'd say the nokia. as for the service people already said it, but before you get it make sure is unlocked

Ya it works in the USA, or at least around here, I know a guy that has one from like HK. It is really bulky though.... he doesn't realize that its like the thickest phone since the startac.
I am the minority here.

i have that phone! and i live in the u.s. i use t-mobile to do it but you can't use all the features of the phone like 3g network and video chatting. but it's still really nice because since it's not available in the u.s. no one i know has it. it's actually not that bulky once you get used to it... it is kind of heavy though... but i can still wear it with a necklace and it's not like i get neck cramps or something ^^;; but i think the w810i is probably better than this because it's 2.0mp camera too and it's waaay smaller than w900i... but that also means smaller screen and almost no internal memory [w900 has 460mb of internal memory as well as a memory stick pro duo slot] i'm going to write a review once i stop being so lazy =_=

other recommended phones [i considered these before deciding on se w900]:
1. sharp v903 [3.2mp camera- OPTICAL zoom]
2. samsung d600 [2.0mp camera but not as good as se w900 or so i heard]
3. the nokia you have is nice but it's even bigger than the se w900 and its major downfall is the fact that it has no vibration mode so if you put it on silent it really is silent while se w900 you can program it to be silent or vibrate or have ringtone. also you don't need symbian os so it's not worth your money.
4. motorola razr v3x [2.0mp camera- flashy design that'll stick out from the rest of the crappy razr v3 and v3i]

the 3G network does exist in america, they just never set it up to its full potential. I think they are introducing 4G technology to full extent soon, they just released HDPSA phones on verizon which is a 3.5G technology. but america always gets all the good technology last sad.gif
