I'm just about to switch out of verizon for a new carrier and phone and was looking at the Nokia 6682, though it has supposedly been discontinued in the past week or two, it still appears to be available in my area... supposedly. If it is, do any of you have anything to say about it, bad or good? (Like RF, features, stability)... Or even any other suggestions for GSM networks.

cingular carries that phone. nice phone my friend has it and he loves it so much. smart phone with decent camera and symbian. nokia makes solid phones so i would get it.

nokia phones are pretty good, they're really hard to break and it looks like there's some nice features on this phone.

Nokia has some really solid phones, but IMO the only nokia smart phones to get are the N-series.

new n series look really good. both QVGA~~~! and that candy bar has 850 mhz maybe cingular will pick it up, when its released.

Ya.. too bad the N80, even if it has 850 (which I don't think it does, yet) will be retail like 1000$ to start.

The thing is... cingular may or may not be carrying it anymore, it has been discontinued from their lineup, but in my zip code they apparently still have it available on their website, though its not available in other zip codes. I just hope that they DO have it in stores in my area, otherwise I'm going to have to resort to buying it elsewhere this weekend.

I have Nokia 6680..which is better that 6682..because there's a camera in front and in the back... you should get that one instead

if theres no 3g service, its pointless to get the one she just mentioned. get the 6681/82 and save yourself some money

Ya, I know the 6680 has the 3g video, but its not supported by any US carriers... since it only has WCDMA 2100 or something. so its pointless.
