I mean I love singing, ive been singing since 6, and Ive even sang at korean church talent shows. (Won 2nd place btw 2 times and 1st place this year).
Im half white/korean and I speak fluent korean since I live with my mom.
I think its kind unfair for me since i don't wanna sing in the USA because ..its wierd you know
people judge you in america. and in korea they do the same thing. but since im more into my
korean side, I love singing in korean.
So what do you think I should do? Give up? Or keep going.

anyways, i'd say go for it cuz you might never know you can make a difference =). Thats also good that you sang very well in your korean church and if you can speak english very well then you can expand your talent far ahead. I think i'm not making sense XD
also, don't give up and whatever people say that you can't do it, well, screw them cuz they are just a bunch of jealous freaks
good luck!! ^^

Now, enough of bashing my own ethnicity, hey, if Daniel Henney could make it (and look at his korean
Respect. If you are cute or pretty, show them you're more than that. You're half-korean, you say, try to go to a company that wouldn't use that fact to get more popularity; a lot of people seem to do that nowadays and defeats the whole purpose of an artist's integrity. People are attracted to some singers with looks, but respect the singers who get by with their voices.
It will be hard and strenious, but if you work really hard and remain strong, I believe you could really have a chance. Think and choose wisely; even the smallest decisions could ruin your future.

Well, to be truthful, it's going to be damn hard. As much as you on't like to believe it, koreans can be some of the most snobby group of individuals out there. From experience from going there and some people at my school, I wonder if some koreans have any sense of humility. Some koreans look down upon korean americans more than half-koreans, but seeing as you are both (right?), you might have a little more trouble; but hey, everyone's into the whole half korean phase, so you might not be. Depends.

Wow, I like how you explained everything so honestly. its wierd though how some koreans are into Britney spears and christina aguilera and other artists here in america, yet they judge the singers who are korean-american or half in korea. Thats just odd to me. I mean ISAK the girl from Sm got moved out of isak n jiyeon because the public didn't accept her. rahh gets me mad about the korean people there (the snobby ones).
Am I hot? haha I can't really answer that. But I will tell you that I'm tall, mom's skin, mom's eyes, and dad's nose and lips.
mom= korean :: dad= white. (Daniel henney really got the good looks for him and so did Dennis o'neil"
I like your speech on RESPECT has me feeling more confident. Thanks everyone for giving me good feedback ^^

I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't even know all about me. I just need to feel s a f e.
I've got a thousand sweaters, and shoes, and paintings to hide the skeletons in my way.
But he said, "Slow down, slow down. Think it over, we've all got wretched closets, but silly girl pride kills more than Aids lately."
I said, "Come on, I thought it over. I don't wanna die here. I have no desire to get m♥rried."
Every night I pray for you, don't believe in heaven or that it could be a happy place.
