i have to use an AC-3 ACM codec.. and i downloaded it, but my computer doens't recognize it because it's a .acm file.. how do i get it to recognize it?

.acm files are mostly used as "add-ons" for audio-related software
when you downloaded the codec, it should've had .inf file with it -> just right click that file and click install
if it still doesn't work, just download the k-lite full codec pack from http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm and only choose the AC3 files during installation
