I do not like hjsplit
I have an avi splitter I can send you... it will produce 2 working avi files instead of evil hjsplit files
check your pm in a little while

virtual dub!! it's freeware. i've only used it to join avi's but i'm quite sure it splits them too. be sure to choose direct stream copy if u do use it tho.

haha nah she has really weird AVI files that the program just seems to hate. Very weird... Im thinking must be vbr video or audio compression to confuse it like that.

Hahahahaha yessssssssssssssssss I'm not the only one stuck with weird files ;D
What kind of AVIs do you have? What codecs do they use? Virtualdub doesn't take wmv audio, the thingie awdark sent you should take just about everything, although it sucks when it comes to vbr audio cuz the split files will have audio/video sync problems
