seems like the seniors at my school are split on the types of classes theyre taking. either- all AP (me) or a bunch of blow-off classes. now that the classes are getting more stressful, im starting to wonder if it's even worth it. besides the college credit i'll be receiving, i'd like to know if colleges even care that much about what classes we're taking our senior year.

also, since i want to send my apps. in before thanksgiving, and my semester transcript with updated gpa/rank doesnt come in until the BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY (bc my school is inefficient)............. if i send in the updated transcript after i send in my apps., will admissions even bother looking at it? cuz i REEEALLYYYYYY WANT THEM TOOOOOOO

Well, admission notifications come in as early as March so, I'm actually quite not sure.
If your school updates transcripts in February, that is really...stupid? They should know that the transcript is one of the most vital aspects to the application. I'm sure your school sends out an updated transcript when they send in the SSR thing. Otherwise, as you've said, that's trulyyyyyyy inefficient.

And about the senior courseload -- it's very important. Colleges want to see that you're still motivated and diligent in the 12th grade. But don't worry, when the first half ends, you can party with some bacardi because second term grades aren't that important. Just pass and I think it'll be fine? But as for the first semester, try to maintain that A (or B) GPA.
