you guys should check it out sometime, it's pretty neat. It's basically like a virtual chatroom with avatars and stuff. Everyone can join for free, but if you want to use the microphone to talk to people you need to pay a 1 time fee of 10 bucks. There's no monthly fee. So if you're bored you should get it!

This game can be really fun, you should at least try it.

Compared to the other social multiplayer online games like Sims Online and Second Life, i think "There" is the best.

second life is horrible, the movement is choppy and there are way too many bugs for commercial release. The Sims is a good single player game, but Sims Online is just bad; it's too humdrum and tedious. Both of these have monthly fees for premium membership.

"There" is the best social mmo imo because it zones in on the fun part, socializing, and doing stuff with other people. The best part is that there is no monthly fee for premium membership! only a one time fee of $9.99 for premium, if you want to have audio chat and some other features.
