So out of all Gundam Series, which do you like the best?


For me, it's most definitely Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (1995).

I also like the Mobile Suit Gundam Wi ng. I think it was the best of the ones I saw.

Turn A Gundam, even though I haven't finish watching the whole serie yet! It's that good!

Most people liked Wing because it was the first Gundam series aired regularly in North America that didn't have anything to do with the Universal Century timeline which was pretty retro.

Other than for the cool Gundams themselves, I'm not much of a fan of Wing.

I prefer SEED and Destiny from the Cosmic Era timeline for the variety of more mobile suit with a good storyline (well Destiny's was a bad repeat of the SEED's...)

I also enjoy G Gundam, although I never watched the series, I love the variety of different Gundams from so many countries.

Not really a big fan of the giant robot animes. Out of all the gundam series I'll say G, Wing, and Mobile Suit. I didn't see what was so good about Seed.

the only 2 timeline i like are UC and CE
i guess i would pick seed/destiny in terms of best series, but the CE timeline itself still isnt as good as the UC

its not that wing, G, Turn A is bad, it just isnt as good
some people like seed because theres a drama feel to it, which some people (like me) like UC because it is just the oringinal. battle betwwn amuro and char, the zeta gundam, zz, 08 ms team. stardust memory, f91 and of course the nu gundam are all just classics =]

Destiny is over-rated, cause it's just a repeat of SEED: you THINK you're watching a new sequel, from the ZAFT point-of-view, but then in the end Kira comes in with his new souped up FREEDOM and kicks all ass and that GENESIS 2 <-- wtf is that >___>

I never saw everything in Universal Century timeline, but I'm just saying I prefer SEED over the series I saw in Gundam, Zeta, and Stardust Memory. Char's Counterattack was a kickass movie though.

Although SEED and Wing were good, I got to go with 08th MS Team.

Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, and Hackatsuki(Akatsuki) were freaking unrealistically overpowered.
Grunt mobile suits were taken down like nothing; it was cool to see Freedom take down like 100 grunts in like 2 seconds, but it got too repetitive.
Seed and Destiny both re-used too many scenes, which was lame.

Fukuda and his wife are so unoriginal, they need to quit their job.

08th MS Team was the best because the mobile suits wern't overpowered and everything seemed realistic.

edit: 08th MS Team is a must for all gundam fans

^ Isn't the Nu Freedom ZGMF-X20A? They wouldn't be calling the original Freedom "Nu" if it was the original one without the DRAGOON system.

i mostly saw UC series before anything else , well , i did see abit of Wing b4 when i was in Taiwan and Philippines visiting relatives

k-spec is right on the certain gundams in SeeD/Destiny being way over powered , Kira has aimbot and Shinn is usin skill

most UC was realistic , atleast most of the Grunt MS took out some stuff before they died , not like SeeD/Destiny , probably straight out of trainin and died the instant they saw a Gundam
