Over for me at least
I'm probably one of the first people who got home this early from SAT IIs.
(ha... living 5 min away from UCI really helps)

Ooh, major props to anyone taking more than 1 subject test.
My brain's fried after just one!

SATII Bio M was definitely hard... more interpreting graphs/data than anything else
but some answers I checked when I got back were right smile.gif

How did everyone else do?

I took the SAT II for US History...

The questions were a lot easier than I expected. I didn't know what to expect going into it so I was surprised by the copious amount of charts and political cartoons that needed to be analyzed. Though, because of the charts, my time management was off and I didn't answer the last one-third of the test as accurately as I might of hoped. I am debating whether to take it again to see if I can get a better score.

Is the policy of taking the test again the same as the regular SAT? Meaning, will the highest grade be sent to college regardless of whether it was your first or second attempt? I heard something about cancelling your score before you take another shot at it, but I am unfamiliar with the whole process.

Oh, and is there a point deduction system (-0.25) for every question you get wrong?

if you cancel your score, you have to cancel ALL your scores from the same day

and yeah theres a point deduciton system

math level2 was easy but i missed two silly questions... i left 2 blank so im banking on a 770+
lit was HARD though... i had NO IDEA what they were saying

scores dont come out until so late sad.gif

Sorry for my ignorant question.. but is there a point in cancelling your scores? I thought you can just send the second scores to uni or colleges. Does that make you look bad though?
you can pm me if you have any questions.

catherine ^ omg SAME hahah. i was so worried for the math because i haven't prepped at ALL and i took precal last year... not so much for chem because i'm in ap chem but OH GOD.

i thought i was taking math ic cause it was so easy... i finished first half in like 20 minutes and was like whaaat... still skipped a couple questions (like the standard deviation? conics? forget all that junk lol) i think i missed a few as well, hope i'm atleast in the 750s+

so i went into chem fairly confident but after spending like the first half hour on 20 questions, i started panicking... i'm praying for a 600+...
smile. you don't know who's day you're making. :)

i didnt prep bc i had aps this week and i forgot all the precalc i learned from last year ): yeah i didnt get the standard deviation or the conic bc i was just like "SCREW THIS NOT ENOUGH TIME" ugh. i skipped 8 questions. sad how i found the ap calc easy but thought the sat2c was hard -.-

chem was kindof hard. i skipped around a lot. i thought the T/F/CE questions were a lot easier than the ones that they had in practice books and stuff.

spanish... eh. not sure if it was actually difficult or not. just praying my score is decent.

I'm not sure about the general opinion on this, but personally I think that the AP US History Exam multiple choice is harder.

um.. i think the policy changed so that colleges now see all the scores from the tests that you took for the subject that you send in.

omg i just took the bio-m and spanish tests. the spanish was so much easier than the AP, so thank god. haha i was totally freaking out last night for spanish because i messed up on the AP. haha i think the AP course at my school prepared me more for the SAT II than for the AP. -______- and bio.. it was a lot easier than I expected... but i probably still got like.. 600-something. sleep.gif haha i started studying like.. two days ago. :X i'm praying for a miracle for my scores...

^ nah, i mean can't you just send the scores again the second time you take it? does it make you look bad or something for sending the scores twice? i don't understand the point in cancelling, that's all.

i didn't get the math one that well...so yeah. i did it last, so i guess that was stupid. i also didn't know much of the calc stuff, i guess that's because i'm not in calc yet.

the bio test was uber easy. i thought there'd be a lot of stuff about meiosis etc, but there wasn't. oh yeah, i took the ecology stuff because i figured the molecular stuff would be too hard for me, i looked ahead and it looked very hard. i'm glad i took the ecology section

lit was kinda hard, all the readings were basically the same for me.

oh well!
