anyone here go to sfsu? it's almost the end of my first year here, and i find that its very hard to make friends if you dont live on campus your freshman year. its a lot easier to make friends there.

you're at SFSU? I'm originally from Frisco and college life in Frisco is TERIBBBLEEEEE. I say join a club or something cause yeah social life over there just isn't there really. I guess you could say it's an expensive community college, just go in and out.

SERIOUSLY!! even the parties are all whack, and im sure everyone from sfsu will agree with me.


alygat0r----- the professors are all pretty cool, well the ones ive had for last semester and this are. its only my first year. theyre pretty liberal, but then again it IS college, which is 100 times better than highschool. the on campus dorms are super sucky, cramped , and expensive! i suggest off campus housing in the VILLAS PARK MERCED thats where im staying. its less than a 10 min walk to campus and plenty cheaper.

USF is not a grad school either.
And I was planning to go to SFSU, but I decided to go to USCS instead. My cousin goes to SFSU and she has a lot of friends.
Maybe you should be more open.

yeah the parties are WEAKKKKKK, it's probably different for you but clubbing is boring as hell now in Frisco for me. Man high school was so much funner here...

my best friend attends sfsu...but she's actually graduating in about 2 weeks! but yea anyways, she joined a co-ed service fraternity and made a ton of friends...they do community service type activities every week..she got really really involved in the frat, it kinda scared me how passionate she was about it ^^....but yea, join a club or something...u'll definitely make friends faster this way~!

most ppl at sfsu enter school with friends in tow. my friend had a hard time making friend in her first year, but she ended up making friend in her 2nd year...

join the asian student association or something... they have tons of events...

USF has a better social life, but oh well, gotta deal with what you have

lol i go to UCB, sometimes i go to sfsu for parties...but rarely. Mostly, my friends drag me there cuz they think there are better looking girls there than in berkeley *ahem* =]

I"m graduating next week, YAY!! If you're taking business classes, I suggest you be friedns w/those Chinese students. They have all kinds of routes that can help you thru tests and anything.
