hey guys, i just wanted to know if it's possible to drop a class mid semester in highschool. im taking a class called water chemistry, and i realized that its not even a uc approved course, so since i have enough credits and this would just be an extra stupid course fo rme to take i wanted to drop it
do people do this? mid-semester? It's the eighth week @ our school

I suggest you get your parent to call in the school and talk it over with your guidance counselor. Some schools actually allow it, but it still might be a little too late to transfer to a different class. When a semester ends (of course you know this), they don't start over again, they just keep on going.
It'll be hard to put you in an same-level class if you haven't learned all of the material from the beginning of the semester.
So talk it over with whomever is in charge of scheduling at your school.

how many more weeks of school do you have?
the seniors at my school are out in like 2 weeks.
i know that if i were to drop a course, it would show up as an F, unless i get it approved with my teacher and my counselor and i have an extremely good reason
